Recently ASIO as approved the threat level within Australia to be raised to the probable phase.
This phase was previously in place from 2014-2022. It is in place as they believe there is more than a 50% probable chance of a terror event occuring within Australia.

They have approved this to occur based on the investigations into recent issues which have either made the media or have not made the media, but investigations continue, however the interesting part they believe if it was to occur, it would be a offended under 30 years of age.

Now is the time to review and re-evaluate your security processes and policies, remember part of the method the possible offenders use to gain information is the cyber security attacks on systems where they hack into a system to learn more about people. Please remember to ensure your staff are trained in watching out for links in emails etc.

For others, please be alert and not alarmed, so when walking the streets ensure you know your surroundings, and you know what is happening around you, it might mean taking time of your phones etc to know what is happening. Look for bags unattended and left in public spaces, if concerned please report it to authorities. Together we can help to protect the country.
